Who We Are

WE ARE A CHURCH PLANT LOCATED IN SOUTHAVEN, MS AFFILIATED WITH THE CONSERVATIVE ANABAPTIST BIBLICAL MENNONITE ALLIANCE
Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;) And let us consider one another to provoke unto love and to good works: Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as the manner of some is; but exhorting one another: and so much the more, as ye see the day approaching. Hebrews 10:22-25 (KJV)
An Anabaptist Mennonite Church serving the LORD Jesus Christ in Southaven, MS and the surrounding areas.
New Heart Fellowship Mennonite Church
New Heart Mennonite Fellowship in Southaven, Mississippi (a suburb of Memphis, Tennessee), was planted by Faith Mennonite Fellowship. Services began after the Leland Mast family, members of Faith Mennonite Fellowship in Crawford, Mississippi, moved to Southaven to work with Choice Books. Services were held in the Mast family home with the assistance of others from the mother church and families from other congregations belonging to the (BMA) Biblical Mennonite Alliance. The Stan Miller family joined the church plant in May 2010.
Stan Miller was the pastor of New Heart Fellowship through 2017. He and his wife Sharon are in the process of starting another church plant with two other families in New York City. In 2014 God provided a building through the help of Faith Mennonite Fellowship and the BMA. The building was in need of renovations and we are slowly getting the building repaired. God is faithful and much renovation has been completed. Near the end of 2012 the Eddrell Lee family was asked if they would consider moving to Southaven, MS to help with the church plant. They moved from Oklahoma two years later in 2014. Our desire as a church is to live, worship, and witness in such a way, that God may have free course in building His church. We expect all members to have some sort of involvement in the outreach of our community. We commit ourselves to a life given for the cause of Christ and His Church.
